We generally only collect personal information from this website when it is provided voluntarily by you. We will not share your personal information with any other third party without your express permission. To protect your privacy throughout the assessment process we will not provide any information whatsoever about your entry to anyone other than the primary and secondary entrant contacts as specified on the official entry form. The primary contact must be an authorised employee of the organisation entering the Awards.
We do not publish the names of companies, organisations or their products that have not been selected for an award, nor will we disclose or reproduce any information from your entry. Therefore if you enter the awards, but are not successful, this will remain confidential. In addition, entrants may mark any commercially sensitive information contained in their supplementary documentation as ‘not for publication’. This information will be used for assessment purposes only and will remain confidential and commercial in confidence.
The organisers reserve the right to use information contained in the winning entry submissions including images for subsequent publicity, promotions and other activities relating to the awards program. For legal reasons we must assume copyright ownership of your entry (in case you are successful) however, as mentioned above, we will not use this information unless you have been selected for an award. Entries are accepted on the understanding that The Australian Business Awards assumes copyright ownership of your entry, and that all information contained in your entry (apart from contact details and any content marked not for publication) can be reproduced in part or full by The Australian Business Awards in relation to the awards program.
We use a variety of physical and electronic security measures including restricting physical access to our offices, firewalls and secure databases to keep personal information secure from misuse, loss or unauthorised use or disclosure. The Internet is not a secure environment. If you use the Internet to send us any information, including your email address, it is sent at your own risk.
You have a right to access most personal information we hold about you. Please contact our Privacy Officer to ask for access to your information of if you have a complaint concerning your information privacy.
